During the visit, General Luong inquired after the former defense leaders, expressing deep gratitude for their significant contribution to national construction and defense cause and military building. He also updated the retired senior defense leaders on the military’s key achievements in the first half of 2025 and major tasks for the time ahead. He expressed hope that the former leaders would continue to support, follow, and provide valuable input for strengthening the military.

After the incense offering ceremony, General Vinh and the delegation offered incense at the Commemorative House of President Ho Chi Minh located within Vi Xuyên National War Martyrs' Cemetery. On this occasion, on behalf of the CMC and MND, he presented 30 gifts, while the Military Region 2 Command handed over 30 gifts to policy beneficiaries in Tuyen Quang province.
That afternoon, General Vinh and his entourage visited and worked with officers and soldiers at Lung Cu Border Post and the Command of the Tuyen Quang Border Guard.
In Bac Ninh province, a delegation of leaders of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau, paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Memorial for Fallen Heroes and Ngo Gia Tu Statue in Bac Giang ward.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), the Central Military Hospital 108 has sent a delegation of young medical officers and doctors to visit and present gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Thuan Thanh Convalescent Center in Bac Ninh province and the Phu Tho Nursing Center for National Contributors.
At the centers, hospital representatives extended heartfelt thanks and handed meaningful gifts to the wounded and sick soldiers, and those who rendered good service to the nation, as a source of encouragement to them to improve their living conditions.
Division 363 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service recently sent a delegation to visit and present gifts to families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and policy beneficiaries in Kien An and Phu Lien Wards, Hai Phong city.
Members visited and gave gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Nhung and wounded soldier Tran Thanh Be and Tran Quang Trung in Phu Lien Ward, and Hoang Van Vien, Do Doan Can, and Nguyen Van Nhinh in Kien An Ward. At each household, the delegation offered words of encouragement and presented gifts to honor their service.
On July 24, Division 968 under Military Region 4 held a gathering and presented gifts to officers and soldiers who are children of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, or are facing particularly difficult circumstances. During the event, the unit’s leadership handed over gifts to these individuals as a gesture of support.
Additionally, agencies and units within the division visited and offered 38 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to the families of wounded soldiers, martyrs, and those who rendered meritorious services in the locality where the unit is stationed.
