During the visit, the Vice President expressed her deep gratitude and conveyed her best wishes to the families of national contributors and policy beneficiaries who had sacrificed their lives for national peace, independence, freedom and unification. She hoped that the families would continue their revolutionary tradition, well implement the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and contribute to building cultural lifestyles in their residential areas and promoting local economic development.

*The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) on July 24 held a meeting to gather 43 female soldiers wounded in 2019.
Speaking at the event, the VWU President Nguyen Thi Thu Ha expressed her admiration for the female wounded soldiers' great efforts to overcome their difficulties and physical pains. She hoped that they continue to live happily, and uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and the Vietnamese women, setting bright example for future generations.
On this occasion, the VWU also presented 43 gifts, worth VND 2 million each, to the outstanding female wounded soldiers.
*A military delegation, led by Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army, offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the President Ho Chi Minh's Memorial House in the ATK (safe zone) historical relic site in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
The delegation also visited and presented 15 gifts to policy families in Dinh Bien commune. Addressing the gift presentation event, Gen. Phuong expressed gratitude to local people for their support during the resistance war against foreign invaders. He hoped that the local Party Committee, authorities, and people would maintain and promote the revolutionary tradition and well implement the guidelines and policies of the Party, thereby building a firm national defense posture.
*The same day, Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics visited and presented gifts to war wounded and sick soldiers at the Kim Bang Convalescent Center for National Contributors in Ha Nam province.

Speaking at the meeting, Gen. Van encouraged the veterans at the center to overcome their physical pains and live happily and healthily and hoped the center's staff to overcome difficulties and successfully fulfill their assigned tasks of providing medical services for wounded soldiers.
On the occasion, Gen. Van also presented 114 gifts to national contributors and a VND-10-million special gift to the center.
*A military delegation, led by Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Director of the GDP, visited the Vietnam-Laos international cemetery in Anh Son district, Nghe An province and presented 15 gifts, worth VND 2 million each, to local policy families.
*A delegation of the General Department of Technology on July 24 provided free health check-ups, medical counseling and medicines for national contributors and policy families in Hat Mon commune, Phuc Tho district. On the occasion, the delegation also presented 50 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to needy national contributors.
*A delegation of the Military Command of Quang Nam province visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy families, and national contributors in the communes of Dai Loc and Thang Binh, as well as joined a candle-lit program at Quang Nam provincial martyrs' cemetery.
