Exhibition on smart cities to be held in HCM City
PANO - The Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), in association with Exporum Vietnam Co., Ltd, under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Innovation and Digital Transformation Institute, and the HCM City People’s Committee, held a press conference to introduce the 2020 edition of the international forum and exhibition Smart City Asia on July 14 in Hanoi.
According to the organizing panel, the event will attract more than 100 domestic and foreign organizations and businesses with 200 booths. Due to COVID-19, many products and solutions of international businesses will be presented online.
The exhibition features groups of solutions for public lighting technology, equipment for smart building construction and management, smart education and housing. Additionally, visitors can have an opportunity to learn more about the model of Korean smart cities, the automatic lighting system, to name but a few.
Visitors can also experience services for the building security and control system, as well as energy efficiency and automation.
The exhibition aims to promote public-private partnerships in implementing smart city projects, thereby effectively exploiting social resources to address modern cities' issues through digital technology platforms.
Participants will also learn from international experience, the development of infrastructure for smart urban areas in Vietnam, safety and security, breakthrough technology, and smart production amid Industry 4.0.
Smart City Asia 2020 will be held from September 3 to 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.
