PANO – The E De ethnic group’s communal house displayed at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is being repaired by 14 E De ethnic people.
The house was erected at the museum in 2000 to exhibit the typical architecture of the E De ethnic group’s communal house and their lifestyle in the Central Highland.
The museum bought the remains of the house owned by H’Dach Eban in 1967 in Ky village, Buon Ma Thuot city to be re-constructed in the capital city of Hanoi. Materials are from Buon Ma Thuot.
The repair of this communal house is expected to last 40 days.
