Vietnamese citizens brought home from RoK
PANO - More than 340 Vietnamese citizens were flown home from the Republic of Korea (RoK) on two Vietjet flights on March 13.
The first flight, numbered VJ7981, carried 172 Vietnamese citizens while the second one, numbered VJ7741, brought home another 171 Vietnamese citizens.

Passengers on the flights included under-18 children, people with illnesses and those in other especially disadvantaged circumstances.
During the flights, all passengers and crew members strictly implemented anti-pandemic measures. At the airport, all passengers had their health checked and were quarantined at a student dormitory in Bac Lieu province.
Earlier, on March 12, Can Tho Airport also received two flights carrying 343 Vietnamese citizens from Taiwan (China). All passengers were quarantined in Can Tho city and Soc Trang province.
Since the Lunar New Year (2021), the Can Tho International Airport has received 8 flights carrying more than 1,000 citizens from Malaysia, Singapore, RoK, and Taiwan (China) to Vietnam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All have been quarantined at units of Military Region 9.
