On May 7, a man discovered an object resembling a bomb of over one meter long while plowing a field in the C4 area of the Ba Hang hill in Nam Dan district’s Nam Nghia commune.

The wartime bomb is transported to a safe area for detonation.

Immediately, the incident was reported to local authorities. The Nam Nghia Military Command swiftly deployed forces to cordon off the area and organized round-the-clock patrols, preventing people and livestock from approaching.

The explosive object was identified as a Mark 82 low-drag general-purpose bomb, measuring 35cm in diameter and 155cm in length. It was then transported to the Nam Dan shooting range area for a safe disposal.
