Huge bomb safely disposed in Nghe An
PANO - A 340-kilogram bomb left over from the war was safely deactivated by engineers of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command on April 26.
Workers in Truong Thi ward, Vinh city discovered the bomb while digging soil for a drainage system.

After receiving the news, the Military Command of Truong Thi ward sent force to block the scene. The Nghe An provincial Military Command then dispatched military engineers to the scene to check the bomb.
The bomb, 1.1m in length and 41cm in diameter was then safely removed and defused at a designated site by engineers of the provincial military command.
