The bomb is being moved to a safe site for deactivation 

The bomb, around 50kg in weight, 0.82m in length and 0.19m in diameter, dropped by the the French Air Force  before 1954 during the national resistance war against French invaders, was found by local people while clearing ground in Phuc Hoa 2 village, Han Da commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai.

Having been informed of the bomb, the provincial Military Command immediately sent military engineers to the scene to move the bomb to a safe site for deactivation.
