As the bomb was located in a residential area, the force had to inform the Military Region 3 Command and the provincial People’s Committee and mobilized military and public security forces to block the area and evacuate locals to a safer place.

The provincial Military Command then sent three groups to collect and defuse the bomb while ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles and equipment.
