Two sets of remains of martyrs found by Defense-Economic Unit 337
PANO – The fallen soldiers’ remains search and collection team of Defense-Economic Unit 337 under Military Region 4 has collected two sets of martyrs’ remains in Hiep Hoa village, Tan Lien commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.
Earlier, the two sets were found by local Vo Ky Phuc, born in 1961 in Hiep Hoa village, Tan Lien commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province while constructing a fence in his garden.

Reported on the finding, the search and collection team from Defense-Economic Unit 337 conducted the collection of the martyr’s remains.
The remains were buried at a depth of 60 centimeters, including bones and other belongings such as two AK guns, four magazines, a flare gun, five grenades, two military belts, two hammocks, three canteens, buttons, pens, toothbrushes, and more. Especially, a canteen was engraved with two lines of words, the upper is “Van Tan,” the lower is “K67/1.”
At present, the team is expanding the search area and working with relevant agencies to identify the found remains.
