Numerous activities mark “Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the Air” Victory
PANO - The Hanoi municipal authorities held numerous activities recently to recall the heroic and revolutionary tradition of the city’s people and troops during the 12 day-and-night combat against US B-52 bombers.

The activities, held in commemoration of the 45
th anniversary of the “Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the Air” (called “Christmas Bombing” or “Operation Linebacker II” by the US) Victory (December 1972-2017), include gatherings, exchanges with historical witnesses, visits to the Vietnam Museum of Revolution, Vietnam Military History Museum, and B-52 Victory Museum, as well as an incense offering ceremony at the Memorial for B-52 Victims on Kham Thien street, together with cultural programs and a photo exhibition.
In addition, the organizing board also repaired and embellished historical relic sites related to the victory in districts of the city.
