At the memorial and burial service for 11 fallen soldiers

Their remains were collected in Ia Kreng commune, Chu Pah district, by Army Corps 3’s search and collection team after local people informed them that they found belongings suspected of soldiers in a cave.

According to local veterans, from 1968 to 1975, the place where the sets of remains of martyrs were collected saw fierce battles. A large number of troops of the Central Highlands Front sacrificed their lives there. So far, lots of fallen soldiers have not been found.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the participants offered incense and flowers in commemoration of the fallen troops and expressed deep gratitude to them.

Their feats of arms in the Central Highlands Front importantly contributed to national independence and freedom.
