Huge bomb moved to safer place for detonation
PANO - The Military Command of Quang Ninh province and Dong Bac Corporation under the Defense Ministry on July 16 successfully moved a nearly 230kg bomb to a safe area for detonation.

The bomb, 0.3m in diameter, 1.5m in length, was found by workers of a mining company under the corporation at the Dong Da Mai mining site in Mong Duong ward, Quang Ninh province’s Cam Pha city at 01:15 on July 16.
The company sent forces to lock down the mine, informed local people of the danger, and reported to relevant authorities.
Having received the news, the provincial military command directed its engineering force and the Military Command of Cam Pha city to investigate the case and move the bomb to detonation area.
At 10:30 the same day, the engineers safely detonated the bomb.
