Huge bomb defused in Son La province
PANO – The Son La Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Mai Son District Military Command, on March 10, safely detonated a bomb, weighing 500kg.

Earlier, on March 5, local people in Co Noi village, Co Noi commune, Mai Son district, found the bomb while digging during a road construction project.
The 500kg bomb, 0.75m in diameter, 1.5m in length, was left from the resistance war against French invaders.
The bomb was then moved to a safer place for detonation.
