Twelve painters, including seven from military units, and two fine art instructors, are experienced in military art activities and winners of various awards on the topics of armed forces and revolutionary wars.

This year’s composition topics are the national salvation cause, the patriotism, willpower, bravery of troops and people in the resistance wars against foreign invaders, the Fatherland construction and defense cause, images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, troops’ activities in studying, training, combat readiness. Troops in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style and in promoting traditions, devoting talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period are also a topic of the composition camp.
As scheduled, during the fortnight-long composition period, participants will have a field trip to Air Regiment 920 to learn about troops’ life and enrich their compositions.
The camp is jointly organized by the Vietnam Military History Museum, the Political Department of the Air Defense - Air Force Service, and the Supporting Center for Art and Literature Composition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
