Reportedly, despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the sound directions of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) and the GDP, a series of activities to mark the opening of this strategic transportation route has been effectively implemented as scheduled.

Concluding the conference, General Quyet underscored that the celebration is an occasion to disseminate information and educate troops about the establishment, achievements and contribution of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea to the success of the country’s resistance war against U.S. invaders.

The deputy chief hailed the great efforts of relevant units in carrying out activities related to this important event. Meanwhile, he also requested them to continue closely working with press agencies to promote dissemination of the importance as well as historical values of the trail while making good preparations for other programs, such as organizing ceremonies and scientific seminars, and implementing gratitude activities, among others.

General Quyet also noted that all activities mentioned above must be conducted in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
