In his speech, Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, emphasized the stature and historical significance of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory, highlighting the province's achievements over the past 50 years since its liberation. The province has been honored by the Party and State with many noble orders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha highlighted that the Central Highlands region in general, and Dak Lak in particular, are rich in cultural and historical traditions, holding a strategic role in Vietnam’s economy, politics, defense, and security.

After the liberation day, the Party committee, authorities, and people of of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province have strived to overcome numerous difficulties and challenges, joining the whole country in the period of building and defending the Fatherland. Over the past 50 years, the province has achieved significant accomplishments and notable milestones in various fields of socio-economy, firmly ensuring national defense and security and building a comprehensively strong political system.
