After the launching ceremony, military youths and more than 300 youths in Cam Ranh city and Cam Thanh Bac commune collected over a ton of rubbish and cleaned the environment surrounding the beach in Bai Dai area in Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province and the stationed area.

According to Senior Colonel Dao Giang Hai, Deputy Political Chief of Naval Region 4, in celebration of the foundation day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Youth Union organizations of Naval Region 4 implemented various activities, including cleaning up the environment surrounding their barracks, planting shade trees, collecting and processing marine debris, among others. Meanwhile, the units effectively disseminated information via different ways to encourage troops to accomplish all assigned missions.
* In Phan Thiet city (Binh Thuan), the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the provincial Youth Union organization kicked off a program titled “Let's clean up the ocean to protect the environment” in 2023.
It was a practical activity to respond to the National Tourism Year 2023 themed “Binh Thuan - Green Convergence” and the national action plan for the management of marine plastic litter by 2030 in the province.

After the launching ceremony, thousands of youths and local people collected rubbish along the beach in Phan Thiet city and distributed environmental protection bags to local people, stuck posters to disseminate information about anti-plastic waste along main roads, to name but a few.

The event drew the attendance of more than 1,000 youths and local people in Ho Chi Minh City, many units, including the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command, Division 370, the People’s Security University, etc., especially Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc.
During the event, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organization signed a cooperation agreement with the people’s committees of Binh Thanh and Go Vap districts to upgrade the canal system of Lang 2 for the 2023-2025 period.
