Naval troops conduct environmental protection program

Under the theme “Youths join hands to protect environment and say no to plastic waste,” the event attracted the participation of thousands of troops and youths of agencies and units under the naval region.

During the event, troops and youths of agencies and units under the naval region repaired, consolidated, and cleaned their barracks. They also cleaned more than 3km of road and collected and classified more than five tons of garbage before taking them to waste treatment area.

The “Voluntary Saturday” program was one of the practical activities to build green, clean, and beautiful barracks as well as raise troops and youths’ awareness of and responsibility in environmental protection.
