Attending the event were Senior Colonel Ha Quoc Trinh, Head of the Mass Mobilization Division under the Department of Political Affairs of Military Region 3, and Nguyen Thi Kim Nhan, Deputy Head of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and Mass Mobilization.

During the program, the organizing panel presented gifts to policy families and needy households. In addition, 10 bicycles and 10 sets of school supplies were awarded to disadvantaged students, with a total value exceeding VND 100 million.

Speaking at the event, Colonel Nguyen Van Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command, emphasized that activities, such as offering incense, paying tribute to policy families, and supporting people in border areas not only reflect the tradition of gratitude, but also contribute to strengthening the posture of the people's heart and close ties between the military and the people.

He also urged officers, soldiers, and Youth Union members to uphold their pioneering spirit and actively participate in voluntary activities, contributing to the stability and development of border areas.

Earlier that morning, the units organized a “return-to-the-root” journey, offered flowers and incense at the Cao Ba Lanh Memorial, and visited and presented gifts to Hoanh Mo commune's Military Command and police, Hoanh Mo Border Post, and heroic Vietnamese mother Hoang Thi Sinh in Luc Hon commune.
