Lam Dot Commune has the largest rice-growing area in A Luoi district this season, with over 240 hectares out of a total of 1,000 hectares of the entire district. The rice fields of the local people are primarily situated in hilly and sloped areas, making the harvesting process quite challenging, especially due to a lack of tools, human resource, and supporting machinery.

Dozens of officers and soldiers from the Border Guard Station of A Dot Border Gate, along with Youth Union members of Lam Dot commune, joined hands to harvest more than 2 hectares of rice for 7 households in the villages of Cur Xo and Lien Hiep in Lam Dot commune, A Luoi district.
