In recent years, while effectively managing and protecting national borders, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command has collaborated with local authorities and sectors to strengthen the political system at the grassroots level and assist residents in socio-economic development. Specifically, in partnership with the provincial Farmers' Association, the provincial Border Guard Command has made efforts to encourage farmers in border areas to boost socio-economic development in conjunction with border protection tasks in the 2019-2025 period.
These activities aim to mobilize participation of the farmers' associations and border guard stations at all levels to support border communes, improving the material and spiritual well-being of farmers facing difficulties. Furthermore, the program highlights the vital role of farmers' association members in safeguarding national sovereignty and border security.
