Division 395’s troops reinforce dike in Quang Ninh

On August 23, due to the impact of Storm Narra, prolonged heavy rain in Quang Ninh province caused water levels to rise and overflow more than 100 meters of Dien Cong 3 dike, disrupting traffic and affecting local people’s daily lives and activities.

At 9:10 p.m. on the same day, after receiving the information from Uong Bi ward, the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Division 395 quickly mobilized forces and vehicles from its affiliated agencies and Battalion 16 to move to the Dien Cong 3 Dike area, coordinating with local forces and people to resolve the incident.

At the scene, despite heavy rain and strong currents, officers and soldiers of Division 395, with a high sense of responsibility, braved the dark and stormy night, working closely with on-site forces and locals to reinforce the dike and fix the overflow points.
