From 5:30 a.m., the registration, screening, and blood collection areas were fully operational. Despite the rainy weather, people continuously queued up to complete procedures. The atmosphere in the hall was urgent and orderly yet deeply warm, with the participation of both first-time and frequent donors.

Among thousands of volunteers was Sergeant Nguyen Van Duc, a cadet of Battalion 10, who registered to donate again after giving 350ml of blood last year. After passing the health screening, Sergeant Nguyen Van Duc shared that he always hopes his blood could make a small contribution to helping patients in need.
The blood donation activities ran continuously from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To ensure the safety of donors and the quality of the blood, medical staff of the Military Central Hospital 108 strictly executed all steps, from registration and screening to post-donation care. This dedication helped participants, especially first-time cadet donors, feel completely at ease.
For the cadets of the Political Officer Candidate School, voluntary blood donation is not only a community-oriented activity but also a practical lesson on a soldier’s responsibility to people. The spirit of “serving the people” is vividly demonstrated through actions in daily life.
After donating blood, the participants received attentive care, a certificate, and small gifts as a token of gratitude from the organizing panel.
Concluding at 2:00 p.m., the program was a success not only for the over 1,000 blood units collected but also for the spirit of sharing it spread. The donated blood has given patients renewed hope while simultaneously strengthening military-civilian solidarity.
