Naval troops save distressed fisherman
PANO – Troops of Naval Region 2 has just saved a distressed fisherman at sea.
By 4:00 p.m. on November 10, members of DK1/7 Platform received fisherman Pham Phuong from Fishing Ship QNg 90458 TS with symptoms of quadriplegia, shortness of breath, dull abdominal pain, body aches, and urinary retention.

Medical personnel of the platform found that the fisherman suffered from decompression sickness due to deep-diving and immediately provided first aid for him.
Fortunately, the man got better later on. He was taken ashore for further treatment on November 11.
