Addressing the event, Lieutenant Colonel Ha Trong Bao highlighted that despite difficulties in production and business, leaders and commanders of the unit always care about the lives of workers and local people. In addition to visiting and presenting gifts, troops of the military unit also provided free health checkups for the local people.
The meaningful activity of the troops has left a deep impression on the locals, contributing to sharing difficulties with them as well as boosting military-civilian ties.
As of 2019, Company 72 helped the locality upgrade 10 km of rural road in the region, built, repaired and handed over five houses to policy and needy households, and provided free health checkups for 3200 people. They also launched mass mobilization work in the area, contributing to building a village of culture. 100% of households in the area are now living above the poverty line and over 30% of them are well-off and wealthy.
