More support to help border people and troops in need
PANO – The Youth Union chapter of the Agencies under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, in association with the Dien Bien provincial Youth Union chapter, the Capital’s Volunteer Club, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank and other units, jointly held a program to help local people and border troops in Muong Nhe district of Dien Bien province overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19.
At the event, organizers offered cash to assist the locality in building a rural bridge, inaugurated a playground for local children, and opened two new book shelves with 400 books at local primary school.

They also handed over 100 gifts, including necessities and supplements to strengthen the immune system, to policy beneficiary and needy households, and presented 2,000 notebooks, 700 servings of milk, 20 scholarships, and five bicycles to needy students with good academic records.
Participating youths also visited and handed over necessities, 2,000 facemasks, and two guitars as an encouragement to the A Pa Chai Border Guard Post’s troops who have been mobilized for COVID-19 prevention and control in the district.
The gift presentation was part of the activities to help local people and troops in needy, mountainous, and border localities overcome challenges caused by COVID-19.
