Representatives of the General Departments of Techniques and Logistics offer a health service package and an illiteracy elimination package to members of Can Nong Commune’s Women Association.

The Board in association with the Military Youths’ Board and several units under the Ministry of National Defense donated money to build two new gratitude houses and repair two others to the families of Trieu Thi Pham (Na Tenh hamlet), Hoang Thi Mon (Lung Ri hamlet), Luong Thi Hue (Ca Na hamlet), and Trieu Thi Mui (Phieng Pan hamlet), who faced housing difficulties.

On the occasion, the Military Women's Board presented 70 gifts to the families of the local Women Unions’ members, needy people, and troops of Can Yen Provincial Border Station.

Meanwhile, the General Departments of Techniques and Logistics offered a health service package, worth VND 160 million, and an illiteracy elimination package, worth VND 70 million, to members of Can Nong Commune’s Women Association.

Speaking at the event, Colonel Phung Thi Tu, Head of the Military Women's Board, held that the programs aim to assist local women in hunger eradication and poverty alleviation as well as to create sustainable livelihoods for them.
