Border guards provide health checkups for border people
PANO - A military medical delegation from the Border Guard Command of Gia Lai province provided free health checkups and medicines for ethnic minorities in Ia Nan commune, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province, on August 27.
During the two-day program, the delegation also instructed around 500 people how to prevent diseases such as dengue fever and other joint and respiration-related diseases.
At present, dengue fever is spreading widely in Gia Lai province, especially Duc Co and Chu Prong border districts.
This practical activity of the command has helped local people prevent diseases, and have a healthy life. It also contributed to tightening the military-civilian ties.
