Gifts serve as source of encouragement to needy workers
PANO - The Defense Trade Union Board, led by its Deputy Head Senior Colonel Tran Thi Thu Hien, visited and presented gifts to Trade Union chapters of Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company 319 and Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company 319.2 under Corporation 319 and their members who are currently working on the Bai Vot – Ham Nghi expressway project in Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province on May 13.
The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Thang Long Project Management Board under the Ministry of Construction Ho Ngọc Loan and General Director of Corporation 319 Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Khiem.

During the visit, the delegation inquired after the staff, Trade Union members, and workers of the two units, acknowledging their hardships and urging them to overcome difficulties, continue striving in life, and work hard to fulfill their assigned duties.

The delegation presented gifts to the Trade Union chapters and Trade Union members in difficult circumstances. On the occasion of Workers’ Month 2025, the Defense Trade Union Board visited and distributed a total of 297 gift packages to disadvantaged trade union members working under the trade unions of the General Department of Logistics – Technical Affairs, the General Department of Defense Industry, Military Region 1, Military Region 7, Corps 12, and other units. The total value of the support amounted to nearly VND 200 million.

This is an annual activity of the Defense Trade Union during Workers’ Month, demonstrating its care for workers. It practically supports the lives of trade union members and employees — especially those in remote areas or working directly on key national projects.
