Military Hospital 175 mobilized skilled doctors to join the event. They employed modern techniques using soft intraocular lenses, resulting in painless operations, minimal incisions, and allowing patients to have their bandages removed just a few hours after the surgery. All surgical costs were supported by Truong Tuoi Group.

Sr. Col., Dr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the Military Hospital 175, noted that this is a charitable project initiated by the hospital’s chapter of Trade Union in 2020. It aims to improve eye care across Vietnam, strengthen solidarity among military units, and take care of the community.
