Deputy Defense Minister extends Tet greetings to former military leaders

In a warm and cordial atmosphere, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau briefed the former leaders of the General Staff and Military Region 9 on developments in the world, the region, and the country, as well as on the results achieved by the entire military in carrying out its tasks, particularly the highly successful outcomes of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau extended his best wishes to the former leaders of the General Staff and Military Region 9 and their families.

He also expressed the hope that, with their experience and the virtues of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers,” the former leaders would continue to contribute valuable and heartfelt opinions, helping to build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern military capable of successfully fulfilling all assigned tasks.
