Huoi Xai is one of the most difficult villages in the border region of Tri Le commune. The village is home to 100 H’mong households, of which 65 are poor.

At the hand-over ceremony

The construction of the cultural house began in July 2024. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, under the direction of the Nghe An provincial Military Command, with efforts and determination of the construction team and the support from local party committees, authorities, militia force, and people of Tri Le, the project was completed as scheduled, ensuring both quality and aesthetics.

The building covering an area of 215m² was built at a total cost of VND 2.5 billion, funded by the Ministry of National Defense’s “For the Poor” Fund.

At the inauguration and handover ceremony, Truc Thanh Trading and Service Co., Ltd., the contractor, presented gifts to 17 particularly disadvantaged households in the village.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Le commune Lu Van Cuong affirmed that the project demonstrated the concern of the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 4 Command, and the officers and soldiers of the Nghe An provincial Military Command for the cultural and spiritual life of the people in Huoi Xai, a village facing many hardships.

The local leader said that this project holds significant meaning. It contributes to the transformation of the rural landscape and provides local people with a place for study, communal activities, and cultural and sports events. It is also a space to strengthen community bonds and preserve the traditional cultural beauty of the H'mong people in the locality. At the same time, the project reflects the solidarity between the military and civilians, showing the close connection between officers and soldiers of the Nghe An provincial Military Command and people of Que Phong, especially H'mong people in Huoi Xai village.
