COVID-19 treatment center established at military hospital
PANO – Military Hospital 175 has just opened a COVID-19 treatment center with 200 beds and 123 doctors for COVID-19 patients.
The hospital's director, Major General Nguyen Hong Son, claimed that the facility for COVID-19 treatment was immediately deployed following the order of the Ministry of National Defense to deal with the complicated developments in the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City.

The clinic can address the therapeutic demands of COVID-19 patients with equipment such as ventilators, oxygen systems, dialysis systems, and even ECMO systems.
The hospital will work closely with the city's health sector in the coming months to equip the center so that it is prepared for any circumstances.
The center received 22 COVID-19 patients on the first day of operation (July 19). Among them, 11 severe cases have had signs of recovery and are being closely monitored by doctors as of the morning of July 20.
