Managing 277 kilometers of rugged terrain with 442 border markers, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Border Guard focuses on grassroots stability and socio-economic development. Over the decade, 24,000 personnel conducted 4,200 patrols, while infrastructure projects, including 182 kilometers of roads and improved irrigation, laid the groundwork for long-term security.

Livelihoods have improved through sustainable farming models. Cattle and sow-breeding programs have expanded significantly, with some households now earning VND 200–230 million annually. Social welfare remains a priority, with over VND 25 billion mobilized for gift packages and essential supplies. The border guard also helped build 2,300 houses, replacing temporary shelters to strengthen the "milestone in the hearts of the people." In education, funding exceeding VND 12 billion repaired 87 schools and built 16 new sites. Programs like "Border Lesson" and literacy classes have fostered patriotism and legal knowledge among 66,000 participants.

Furthermore, the force has reinforced the political system by assigning officers to communes and village Party cells. This grassroots presence consolidates local organizations and encourages military enlistment.
