Troops helping locals build the bridge

In particular, more than 100 troops of Regiment 892 of the An Giang provincial Military Command cooperated with agencies, organizations, and authorities of Dao Huu Canh and Binh Phu communes, Chau Phu district, An Giang province to build Tam Coc rural bridge crossing canal 10 on October 23 and 24.

The bridge, which has a capacity of from 10 to 13 tons, was built with a total cost of VND 5.9 billion.

Once operational, Tam Coc bridge will help people in Dao Huu Canh and Binh Phu communes to easily meet and trade, contributing to local Party committees and authorities’ efforts in reaching criteria for new-style rural areas.

The construction of the bridge also helped strengthen military – civilian solidarity and build firm whole people’s defense posture.

Once operational, the bridge will facilitate locals' daily life and trading.

Building rural bridges is one of the activities of troops of the provincial armed forces to mark the 190th anniversary of the foundation day of An Giang province (1832 - 2022).
