Border guards repair the house for the family of Nguyen Thi Xe. |
On September 18, Son Tra Border Post sent troops to repair the house for Mrs. Tran Thi Tham (born in 1949, from Phuoc My ward, Son Tra district), a poor woman. Accordingly, the People’s Committee and the Veterans’ Association of Phuoc My ward supported VND 10 million, while the officers and soldiers of Son Tra Border Post carried out the task.
Earlier, on September 16, Non Nuoc Border Post, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, conducted the house repairs for Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xe’s family (Khue My ward) who are facing difficulties in daily life. Accordingly, Non Nuoc Border Post mobilized sponsors to support money to buy materials, while the border troops helped the family repair their house.
According to Senior Colonel Ha Van Thoong, Commissar of Non Nuoc Border Post, there are many needy households in the city; therefore, the unit regularly works with local authorities to raise fund to support the locals, contributing to sharing difficulties with them.
