* The General Department of Political Affairs (GDP)’s affiliated units should strictly implement all resolutions and directives of the higher levels, and conduct training work as regulated with absolute safety.
The statement was made by GDP’s Deputy Chief Senior Lieutenant General Do Can during a conference held by the GDP’s head organs on February 28 to deploy training and combat readiness mission in 2023.

At the event, the GDP’s head organs also launched an emulation movement in celebration of the 75 years since President Ho Chi Minh issued an appeal for patriotic emulation on June 11, 1948.

* On the same day, the General Department of Logistics held a ceremony to kick off new-year training course in 2023. This year, the department focused on compiling and finalizing the training document system and teaching materials, directing all units of the military to promote logistic training, improving the quality of specialized exercises, among others.
During the event, the general department launched an emulation movement to encourage troops to fulfill all assigned missions in the first six months of 2023.
* During the similar ceremony, the General Department of Technical Services was determined to promote training quality with absolute safety, with the focus on well ensuring technical service for training tasks while applying information technology to training.
* The head organs of Military Region 1, during a ceremony to start new-year training in 2023, were determined to promote maneuver training, night training, and intensive training tasks in all conditions, organize exercise via many forms, among others, with good outcomes.
* On February 27, a similar ceremony was held in Military Region 3. In 2022, the region’s agencies directed affiliated units to carry out defensive exercises and conduct competitions at all levels with absolute safety and good results. This year, the units will continue to promote training work according to Decision No.1659-NQ/QUTW, issued on December 20, 2022, on raising training quality in the 2023-2030 period and the following years.
* This year, the Air Defense - Air Force Service will promote inspection while strictly organizing refresher courses and competitions to raise its troops’ competence and leadership.
* Meanwhile, Army Corps 1 and its affiliated units will attach much importance to night, maneuver and intensive training in any conditions, in line with their assigned tasks and the situation of localities where they are stationed.
* Implementing the training task in 2023, Army Corps 3’s affiliated units will promote their troops’ determination and political stance, so that all the troops will be well aware of their assigned missions, master equipment and weapons, and strictly maintain combat readiness.
* In 2023, Division 301 of the Hanoi Capital Command will pay due attention to improving training quality and renovate training methods, in order to well fulfill training tasks with good results.
