Vietnam Coast Guard ship commemorates former Party chief Do Muoi in India
PANO - A delegation including crew-members of ship CSB 8001, representatives from the Coast Guard Region 3 Command and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, held a ceremony on October 6 morning at Chennai port, India, to pay tribute to former Party General Secretary Do Muoi who passed away on October 1 in Hanoi due to serious illness.

The same day, the ship flew the Vietnamese national flag at half-mast.
In a solemn spirit, the delegation heard a special announcement on the national mourning for the former Party chief and a brief of his life and revolutionary career.
With deep grief over the decease of the former Party chief, the delegation spent a minute in silence in memory of him.
