Eight outstanding faces in 2020 honored |
Reportedly, over the past time, youth work and movements in the unit have been developed, meeting all requirements of youth work in the current context.
Annually, the command often honors young outstanding faces so as to encourage and further popularize good examples and good deeds in organizing youth activities in the city, contributing to promoting the pioneering role and responsibility of young people in the cause of national sovereignty protection and enhancing their position in the youth unions in military units.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh municipal Border Guard Command honored eight outstanding faces in 2020.
* On the same day, the Air Defense-Air Force Service (ADAF) held a ceremony to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and presented the “Youth Creativity” award at the military branch level in 2020. The event saw the attendance of Major General Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the ADAF, and Major General Bui To Viet, the service’s Deputy Political Commissar.

Over the past time, in addition to youth work and movements, the service’s youths have actively joined scientific research movements.
They have contributed many studies and initiatives for the military Youth Creativity Awards with scientific and practical values.
Addressing the event, Major General Bui To Viet affirmed that over the past time, under the leadership of the unit’s Party Committee and political organs at all levels, youth activities and movements have been promoted considerably. Many youth organizations in the service were honored by the Ministry of National Defense and ADAF Service.
During the event, 15 groups with remarkable achievements in the “Youth Creativity” award received certificates of merit from the service.
