Speaking at the handover ceremony, Major General Dau Van Nam, the academy’s Deputy Political Commissar, said that the presentation of such comradeship houses was a practical activity to celebrate the unit’s “Determined-to-Win” emulation congress for the 2014-2019 period.
General Nam emphasized that together with performing its education and training and scientific research tasks, the academy has spent billions of Vietnamese dong on building gratitude and comradeship houses for needy servicemen’s families, policy beneficiaries and those with adversity in life over the past years.
The academy’s meaningful activities have helped ease housing difficulties for the recipients, improved their living standards, boosted military-civilian ties, and built a safe and strong locality.
