PANO - Doctors of the infirmary in Truong Sa (Spratly) island district, Khanh Hoa province, had a video medical consultation conference with their colleagues from Military Hospital 175 through the telemedicine system, to provide treatment for an injured soldier on January 7th.
Previously, on January 5th, Private Nguyen Thanh Phuong fell unconscious while on duty in the district and was immediately taken to the infirmary.
After being hospitalized, his symptoms were diagnosed as a ruptured spleen and arterial bleeding, and he needed urgent surgery.
Military Hospital 175 also sent medical workers to the island to work with the infirmary’s doctors to save the patient.
Thanks to the prompt operation, the patient is currently recovering.
