According to a report delivered by Director of Factory Z121 Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Bach, in 2023 and the first two months of 2024, the factory well fulfilled defense production mission while ensuring quality and progress.

Regarding the production of economic goods, the factory has actively sought more customers and ensured the supplies of safe industrial explosives. The unit has sold fireworks at 408 stores in 59 provinces and cities, selling more than 6.3 million non-explosive fireworks products to the market; provided equipment, 20,950 high- and low-altitude fireworks, and 35,176 low-altitude fireworks rigs for 63 provinces and cities nationwide to serve people on the lunar New Year 2024 while ensuring safety.

In the year of 2023, the factory’s revenue reached more than VND 3 trillion, up 49% compared to that of 2022. The business’s profit reached VND 164 billion, and its employees’ average income was VND 18 million/month/person. Together with production mission, the unit actively conducted scientific research at different levels and applied hundreds of initiatives to production.

This year, Factory Z121 will focus on producing quality and safe defense products and expand consumption market. It targets to increase its revenue to VND 3.5 trillion and its employees’ income to VND 20 million/month/person.

Concluding the working session, Gen. Nam lauded the factory for its obtained results in 2023 and asked the unit to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Politburo’s resolution on promoting the development of defense industry until 2030 and the following years; focus on building high-quality human resources; enhance scientific and technological research; apply initiatives to the production of defense and economic products, contributing to improving productivity and quality of products and meeting the demand for equipment of the armed forces and people.
