Since the beginning of this year, Factory Z114 has achieved over 46% of its defense production targets and has developed a diverse range of products for economic development. The factory has maintained absolute safety in its production activities and adhered to technical procedures and discipline. Its workers’ average monthly income is over VND 19 million per person.

The factory has studied, developed, and successfully applied new initiatives and technologies to producing various defense products that meet technical and safety standards, contributing to fulfilling the demand for weapons and equipment of units in the Southern region.

On checking the factory and talking with its officials and employees, Gen. Nam praised and highly appreciated their pro-activeness in overcoming difficulties and their task accomplishment. He said that the unit has attached great importance to building a green, clean, beautiful, and safe environment, while its employees have been enthusiastic and active in performing production missions.

The deputy defense minister Pham Hoai Nam asked the unit to focus on consistently implementing educational work and developing plans and strategies on the development of a defense industry cluster for ammunition production in the South.

Together with strictly adhering to the procedures regarding technical and technological management, the unit was requested to ensure the quality of products and closely manage material resources.

The factory should pro-actively adopt new production chains, strengthen inspections and apply measures to ensure absolute safety for its employees, pay attention to building a high-quality workforce, and boldly embark into new sectors in accordance with its potential, strengths, and missions, Gen. Nam said.
