After directly inspecting and watching operation of the factory, General Truong was briefed on the factory’s task performance so far this year and measures to fulfill missions in 2018.

As reported, so far Factory Z114 has completed manufacturing defense products from the regular budget and continued to make other defense products from a special budget, expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.

In the 2015-2017 period, the factory seriously conducted two projects and four technical initiative reports in line with regulations.

It has frequently cooperated with local authorities, and other armed forces to ensure smooth communication and information, follow closely local situations, improve the fire prevention work, mitigate the impacts of natural disasters, conduct search and rescue missions, foster military-civilian ties and contribute to building a strong and safe locality.

At the meeting, representatives from functional agencies of the MND gave suggestions to the factory’s operation and planning.

In his concluding speech, General Truong applauded the factory for its task performance and emphasized the MND policy of positioning Factory Z114 at the center of defense industry production in the South. Therefore, the planning of the factory should be scientific, long-term, effective and law-abiding.

General Truong asked related agencies and units to make good preparations for the task and asked the factory to concentrate on its missions to meet the requirements of national safeguarding, to get involved in socio-economic development and export orientation while ensuring safety, innovation and efficiency in production together with promoting internal solidarity and improving its personnel’s living standard.
