Signal Corps opens logistics-related equipment and initiative competition
PANO - The Signal Corps on September 6 opened a competition on innovation and initiatives of logistics-related training models under the chair of its Deputy Commander, Senior Colonel Dinh Van Hiep.
The event aimed to evaluate the outcomes of research, invention, and improvement of the logistic sector in affiliated units of the corps. Good products will be selected and applied to their training and combat readiness mission performance.
Nine participating units will introduce their 50 initiatives and improvements of training models and tools as well as software serving logistics for combat readiness missions, ordnance supply, military medicine, barracks building, transport, and petrol supply.
Of the introduced products, many are useful to the corps’ specialized and field operations, such as picnic cookers, support kits, water filters, food storage, and management software over petrol vehicles and an automatic turning-on and turning-off device for electric protection system.
The feasible projects will receive fund to be developed and applied widely at units to make the corps’ logistic sector operate more effectively.
