Showcasing intangible cultural heritages in Naval Region 4
PANO - Almost all UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage elements of humanity in Vietnam were introduced to troops of Naval Region 4 in Cam Ranh city, Central province of Khanh Hoa, on the evening of June 15.

Nearly 200 artisans and artists from the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Ha Nam, Quang Ngai, Hai Duong and Thua Thien - Hue showcased a number of artistic performances of such unique heritages as Ca tru (ceremonial singing), Hue royal court music, Bai Choi singing - a folklore style of singing in Central Vietnam, and don ca tai tu (Southern folk music and songs).
These performances in praise of the country and localities featured unique local cultural identities.
The show in Naval Region 4 was part of the festival promoting intangible cultural heritages of humanity in Vietnam under the theme “Connecting heritages - Culture of seas and islands of Vietnam,” which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province in Nha Trang from June 14 to 16.
