The unit also focused on raising troops’ responsibility and awareness of combat readiness tasks, especially during holidays and national events.

In addition, Brigade 279 regularly checked status of weapons and technical equipment to serve missions, practiced rehearsals on fire and explosion prevention and safety ensurance.

Speaking at the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang praised the achievements of the unit over the past time, and required them to continue embracing Chief of the General Staff’s orders on military - defense affairs, maintaining duties, and enhancing inspection as regulated.

In addition, the unit should enhance combat readiness, prepare forces and vehicles for search and rescue and natural disaster relief missions, ensure logical and technical supply for all troops, contributing to maintaining political order and social security in the locality.
