PANO - On July 16 in Hanoi, a delegation of the Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG), led by its Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai, visited and inspected the VCG units selected to participate in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – 2025).
The VCG forces participating in the parade (A80 in short) mission include the standing formation, coordinated by Military Region 2, and the marching formation, under the management of Military Region 4. In recent weeks, both units have conducted training in accordance with the approved plan. Weekly assessments have been held to evaluate progress and draw lessons. Aside from official sessions, officers and instructors have organized additional training for supporting movements.
