At the event, members of the Inspection Committee gave opinions on the preparations for the meeting to review the Party inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Military Party Organization in the 2020-2025 tenure to report to the Standing Board of the CMC.

They made proposals to the CMC’s Standing Board to present certificate of merit to inspection committees of Party committees under the CMC and the CMC’s Inspection Committee’s Organ for their good performance of the Party inspection, supervision and discipline work in the 2020-2025 term. They also gave suggestions on penalizing Party organizations or members who have violated regulations.

In his concluding speech, Gen. Quyet assigned the Standing Board of CMC’s Inspection Committee to completing all reports to be submitted to the CMC’s Standing Board and continue to perfect contents for the aforementioned review meeting.

An overview of the meeting

Gen. Quyet asked the Standing Board of the CMC’s Inspection Committee to pro-actively advise the CMC’s Inspection Committee and the CMC’s Standing Board to lead and direct the implementation of the work; concentrate on inspection and supervision work to serve all-level Party congresses; and direct the organization of elite, compact and strong forces coupled with streamlining political apparatus and implementing two-tier local administrative model.

The CMC’s Standing Board was requested to grasp situational developments and promptly deal with complaints and denunciations, especially those related to personnel of party congresses at all levels. In addition, they should consider and strictly fine groups and individuals for violations to strictly maintain Party and military discipline.
